Here is an interesting video I found.
The title is: Rocket Mass Greenhouse Heater Pt.2 – An American Homestead
It works! Well sort of. I’m getting good draw on the system right away. The top of the 55 gallon drum is too hot to touch within 90 seconds of lighting a fire. My question is, how long does the fire need to go before 2nd combustion happens? How do I tell? Also, the exhaust pipe doesn’t get very hot…just mostly warm. Shouldn’t it be getting hotter than that if its going to heat up mass like cob?
